Más de 2.000 bicicletas para niños y jóvenes de las escuelas de formación deportiva

Con el ánimo de impulsar la sana ocupación del tiempo libre y fomentar la práctica del ciclismo, tanto aficionado como profesional, el Gobernador Nicolás García entregó, con una inversión superior a los $5.000 millones, más de 2.000 bicicletas de MTB, BMX y ruta para los niños y jóvenes de las escuelas de formación deportiva en los 116 municipios.

«Un saludo a todos los integrantes de las escuelas de formación deportiva en los 116 municipios. Dado el auge que ha tenido el ciclismo, especialmente durante la pandemia, ya son miles los ciclistas que recorren el departamento, por ello, hoy entregamos más de 2.000 bicicletas y elementos deportivos, como guantes, jersey y cascos, para las modalidades de MTB, BMX y ruta. Queremos incentivar la participación de niños y jóvenes en los eventos deportivos de ciclismo en el departamento y en el país, deporte en el que Cundinamarca seguirá siendo líder», destacó el primer mandatario departamental.

Durante el evento también se oficializó la Vuelta Ciclística Infantil por Cundinamarca, que tendrá válidas en diferentes regiones durante este mes se diciembre: el 21 en Cogua, con la participación de las provincias de Rionegro, Sabana Centro y Ubaté; y en Guasca con las de Guavio y Almeidas. El 23 en Apulo, con Alto Magdalena, Sumapaz y Tequendama; y en Bojacá, con Magdalena Centro, Gualivá, Soacha y Sabana Occidente. La gran final será el 27, en el municipio de Mosquera.
